AsiaInfo was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1993. In 1995, we moved major operations to China and designed and implemented most of the nation's major commercial Internet backbone projects. We began generating significant software revenues in 1998 and broadened our presence in the Business Support Systems/Operation Support Systems market in 2002 through the acquisition of Bonson Information Technology Holding Limited. We began offering IT security products and services in 2004 with our acquisition of Lenovo's non-telecom related IT services business.
